I've played both, and I think Last Night on Earth has the edge.

The reason is the game has a definitive end point, unlike Zombies!! which can drag one WAY too long.  Zombies!! is fun for the first hour.  The next 3 are too much.

Do not waste your money on Zombies. It sucks.

Like DaKing said... it's a joke that goes on way too long.

Last Night on Earth was pretty good.  I have only played it once though, we played the Zombie Apocolypse scenario (environment?).  I'd like to play it once or twice more to get a better opinion on the game; my first impression was that I didn't like the impact of some of the cards on the game.

On a related note, I thought that the Zmangames B-movie card games were quite amusing, especially the Grave Robbers from Outer Space game.

Hey Stan,

I've tried like 5 or 6 times to get out to games day but something always comes up. We are expecting our first child in a month-and-a-half so that's been taking up most of the time..we've redone our kitchen (a friend and I did all the work) --plus we had our driveway redone...

All this work to do and the weekend is the only time to do it.

I now have to paint the nursery this weekend.LOL..
I've been getting my game jones fixed by playing video games, a D&D campaign and the start of a Pathfinder campaign.

I really miss gaming and playing D&D minis though...

How are you? I miss you too (is that gay?)

What about Mall of Horror? Never played it, but it sounds decent enough (for a zombie game).

You should check out Dead of Night.  It's a print and play game (has ALMOST been picked up once or twice by a company), that is really fun.

You can check it out at the geek here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/27736

It can be downloaded here (according to the geek site): http://mvobservatory.com/games/Dead%20of%20Night%20files.zip

Speaking of zombies, hi Guru!

This seems to be the thread that brings lost gamers back from the dead.  :)
