June 14 Games Day

Ok, we are officially in June so let the fun begin.

I will be open for any of the following

War at Sea
X Wing

I would like to try and get a 2x2 or 3x3 game of x wing going early to make use of the new Epic format.

Any one interested??

I'd love to play at least one Epic game, teams or 1v1.  I'll be there on Saturday, but I have to leave just before 7.  Does anyone want to commit to playing earlier in the day, starting before noon?

A lot depends on the parking situation right now.  If we are a go, I should be there early and I have a scenario that I have put togehter for a nice 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 player action.

Sucks because I really was hoping to get some Myth in this weekend. I have all of the main characters painted and I painted one of the bosses. Hopefully I can move onto the minions soon.

Why the restrictions on fleet setup?  Why not just set a point total?   2 Corvettes and 4 transports is really formidable  the empire will need a lot of ships to take just those down.

I'll give it a go, as long as you let me sneak my Ewing and or Phantom in there.

Nope.  Forces are set up this way for game balance.  Nothing on the table that is not in the list.

This is not a cake walk.  For either side.  There might be a few adjustments to each side but the empire has 32 shooters vs. 14 for the rebels.  This is to represent the period when the empire has the advantage in numbers but the rebels have somewhat better ships and pilots.  The rebels will need to take advantage of the big ships and the transports just to get away.  The empire will need some luck to board and capture the transports and get the victory that the Moff is looking for.
