GASPcon Silent Auction

Start cleaning out those closets, the silent auction is back for GASPcon XIII.

Buyers

There will be Three separate auctions Starting on Friday at 2:00PM. The item available to bid on will be layed out on a table with bid sheets attached to them. All you need to do is write down your name and the amount you want to bid. During the course of the auction you may be overbid. If you are you can re-bid by signing the sheet again or let it go to the higher bidder.

At the end of the auction if the reserve is meet the highest bidder will be awarded the item.
The winner has until the end of the next auction to pay for their item or it will be placed back on the auction table.

Buyer beware, GASP makes no guarantee the seller descriptions are correct or that the items are complete. be sure to check out the item before placing your bids.

Sellers

Registration: You must register your items at the convention (Registration Desk). We will not take items before the con. You must Clearly fill out an auction slip for each lot. Attached to this post is an Excel and Pdf form.  If you fill out the slips before you get to the con it will greatly speed up the process.

Cost : 10% of sale price or 1$ per lot whichever is higher. This will be collected at payout and there is no fee if your item does not sell.

Donations: The con uses the auction as a way to raise funds for future Cons and games days. If you wish to donate more or all of the sale price of your items to GASP select the % you wish donate on the form you submit for each lot. Options include 25%, 50%, and 100%.

How it works: Due to limited space the auctions will run in 3 blocks Starting on Friday at 2:00PM (see schedule below). Items will be added to the table in the order we receive them until the table is full. Con attendees will have Aprox. 4 hours to bid on your items. At the end of the four hours if the reserve is meet the item will be pulled from the table and awarded to the highest bidder. The bidder will have 4 hours to claim the item. If they do not claim the item will be returned to the table for a new round of bidding. If your item does not reach the reserve it will remain on the table

Restrictions: Items must be gaming related. This can include loosely related items like paperbacks, PC and consol games but we will reject things like old tv's. All items must be used, NO NEW items will be accepted. Shrink wrap items may be accepted but they must be out of print/circulation items. We also will not accept any bootlegs or copied items  We reserve the right to reject  any item so if you are unsure shoot me a PM.

Payout: All payouts will made at the end of the convention at 7:30PM. If you will not be able to be at the con during the payouts you must talk to the registration staff to make alternate arrangements.  If your items did not make the reserve then it will be returned to you at the payout. If you opted for a 100% donation your un-sold items will become property of GASP.

Auction 1 – Fri 2PM – 6:30PM
Auction 2 - Sat  8:30AM - 1:30 PM
Auction 3 - Sat  2PM  - 6:30 PM


Payout Sunday 7:30 PM
