Title: Metal Coins Mystery
Post by: Chuck the Castle Merchant on May 24, 2017, 03:11:37 PM
Well this is fun!

I received a small package today from Shanghai with sixteen metal coins in it for some game I probably backed on KS.  The package doesn't contain any invoice or packing slip....

I have backed quite a few games... more than I'd like to admit!  :D  The coins don't really give much clue as to which game they are supposed to be for; there are so many board games on KS that offer metal coins as add-ons, optional buys or stretch goals ... I am going to have to do some digging around to figure out what these are for!

Whoo hoo!

Well, I figured it out.  They are for 1750:  Britain vs France Card Game.  They were an add on item, but I didn't add them on.  I possibly got them because I backed for the retailer bundle.

They are very nice coins, heavy.  They could be used as projectile weapons if we happen to run out of ammo during the war!  :D

The game is not supposed to arrive for about two months.

Well...things were cheaper then.  My grandmother used to tell me about when a loaf of bread was ten cents. I remember gas at 50 cents a gallon.  :D
