Found this web site, Still pretty crappy layout but a lot more useful information. http://www.anima-gaming.be/main/main.html

Also has scans of all the character and item cards if you want to proxy before you buy.

There are a few other sites I came across as well.  I'll post them later.  If you combine them all together, you'd actually get 1 decent site.

As a side note, I'll be playing a few games up at Legions tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks,

during that time, I'll be contemplating ritual suicide as I try to get a product out the door that is understaffed, with a contractual ship date, which just happened to fall right after a full 1/3 of the team is off on his honeymoon.

It was good.  We did a 200 pt battle, and it took about an hour.  That's with referencing rules and all.

I got my arse handed to me, mainly because I went for a bold move, and failed utterly.  It's definitely more of a game of cat and mouse than Warmachine.  You really need to worry about the position your characters more, and wait for an oppurtune time to strike.  It also feels faster then WM, since most models move around 8" to 10" per walk movement.

Also, losing a character can be a hard blow to come back from, unless you can take out an opponent's character the same or next turn.

Dodging attacks is really a necessity, so saving a few action points is crucial if you think you're going to get wacked at some point that turn.

All in all, I really enjoyed the game.  It was fast and bloody, and left me hungry for more.  I'll bring my stuff to Knight Night if anyone wants a demo or to play.

Thanks,

I could be up for one, but I could also get an idea from just watching it.

Ok, I really enjoyed the game.  I do like the models better for the dark faction chars (like Don's Samael guys).  However, I like the stats and play of the Light guys more.  From an affiliation standpoint, Church looks solid and Empire looks darn nice (though it could use a wee bit of support).

I think I'm going to start out Church and see where I go from there.  Looks like the Light starter box is my next step.

From what I've read so far, the Church is a powerful faction, with a good mix of light and dark characters.  You'll be very happy with it.

I know Legion's stock was very low last night, so before anyone orders any minis elsewhere, let me talk to Bill and see if he'll honor the Knight Night discount for special orders on Anima Tactics.  I'll post here once I know.

Thanks,
