Some of you may have noticed the spammers we get every so often. We do our best to delete these posts and accounts as soon as we see them. We also implemented some additional steps that a new user needs to follow during the registration process to allow them to post on the site. This helps to stop the majority of spammers, but a few still get through.
The spammers that register but are subsequently stopped from posting by the additional steps leave an unused account on the forums. We have cleaned up a few of them that are obviously fake (foreign e-mail extensions, bouncing e-mail, etc), but there are still a few left.
In order to keep the site as streamlined as possible, we will be deleting all accounts that have 0 posts,
AND are more than 10 days old. This will not affect you if you have legitimate posts, even if your last post was more than 30 days ago. This is simply a step to rid the forums of those spammers that registered but were stopped from posting spam.
If you are a legitimate member of this forum and have not posted a message yet, please be sure to do so within the next week. If your account is more than 30 days old
AND has zero posts, it will be deleted.
