What is GASP Knighthood?
« on: February 25, 2006, 04:31:06 PM »
Basic membership in GASP is free.  You can browse our forums, organize games outside of Games Days, chat on our message board, find out about local events and special GASP events (such as movie parties, paintball and other gaming tournaments), all for free.

If you want to attend our monthly Games Day and play games for 12+ hours straight, there is a nominal fee, to cover the cost of the rental hall (see here).

You'll notice on the fee structure an entry for Knight, and may wonder what that is.  As a GASP Knights, you offer your financial support to GASP and earn the title of Knight of GASP.

Why become a Knight of GASP?
The obvious answer is to help GASP raise funds for our annual convention and support your local gaming community, but there are other perks.

• One free month of Games Day, the month you pay for your Knighthood ($5 value)
• $1 off the price of pizza at every Games Day.
• 25% off admission to GASPcon, our annual 3-day gaming convention
• Special discounts to both local and online retailers
• Special Knight-only gaming events throughout the year
• Participate in discussions about the future of GASP
• And, most importantly, give yourself a spiffy new title

So, how much does it cost to become a Knight?
Believe it or not, dues for 2013 are still only $20.

If you're interested in becoming a Knight of GASP, find the King (Don) at a Games Day with cash or credit card in hand.  Be sure to sign up before we collect for pizza and start seeing savings right away.

OK, I'm done with my sales pitch. Get back to the games.
